The Pierre Marcus trio presents a lively, intimate jazz experience, combining original compositions with a few reimagined standards. Longtime friends, the three musicians share a real musical connection, built on listening, exchange, and inspired improvisation. Pierre Marcus is a double bassist and composer active on the French jazz scene. He plays as a sideman in many projects while also developing his own groups. He is the leader of several albums ("Longue Attente", "Pyrodance", "Following the Right Way", "Second Life"), centered on his compositions with a modern approach to jazz. He also held a 7-year residency at 38Riv, where he regularly performed and invited many musicians.
