Bringing together a garden inherited from the Second Empire and a 21st-century urban park.

August 19, 10:00 AM From square des Batignolles to Parc Martin Luther King The square des Batignolles, created by Adolphe Alphand, is a legacy of the 19th century. Gently undulating and defined by winding lines, it is home to remarkable trees. They provide excellent shelter and food for the birds and insects that live there. Beds of seasonal plants enhance the lawns. The visit continues at Parc Clichy Batignolles Martin-Luther-King. This 21st-century park is the nerve center of this modern neighborhood. Jacqueline Osty, a renowned landscape designer, structured the park around 3 themes: the seasons, sport, and water. An orchard, shared gardens, lawns, wooded areas, and planted ponds offer a diversity of environments where wild nature can flourish.
