You don't need to leave the big city to discover the living world. If you look closely, you'll find that the sidewalks of Paris are home to a rich yet little-known variety of plants. This workshop offers an introduction to botanical graffiti, an unusual activity that involves writing the names of wild plants you encounter on the sidewalk in chalk. But first, you need to know how to identify them. Through drawing, children will learn to recognize and name the most common plants in Paris and create their own botanical graffiti kit. The workshop ends with an outing where they can make their first chalk graffiti.
