All summer long in July and August, librarians invite you to meet them in parks and gardens to share unforgettable reading moments with children and adults!
During the summer, the media library will come to you in several locations in the 19ème arrondissement, for readings, activities, and opportunities to connect: - At the Fête de quartier Danube on Saturday, June 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. - At the Fête de quartier Algérie on Saturday, June 27 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. - At Open Street Danube, in the Parc de la Butte du Chapeau Rouge, on Tuesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - At Jardin d'Hérold on Fridays, July 10, 17, and 24 and Friday, August 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. - At square Monseigneur Maillet (Place des fêtes) next to the kiosk every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (from July 8 to August 26). Outdoor readings with the librarians of Jacqueline Dreyfus-Weill and James Baldwin, as well as volunteers from the association L.I.R.E. - At Bassin de la Villette for Paris Plage in the morning on Saturday, July 11 and Saturday, August 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
