Since 2011, Les Pierrots de la Nuit has been working to preserve the vitality of Parisian nightlife while respecting residents' quality of life.
The association Les Pierrots de la Nuit carries out daytime mediation and advisory work to prevent noise disturbances linked to nightlife venues. They also raise awareness among nightlife-goers through artistic nighttime interventions in busy streets. Several dates are planned for artistic roving performances Les Pierrots de la Nuit brings Parisian nights to life with poetic and interactive performances that blend art and civic engagement. To embody this message, a choir of actors called the Chœur de Bal offers evolving creations in two parts: a live performance rooted in the DNA of the neighborhoods, followed by conversations with nightlife-goers to raise awareness and leave a lasting impression. JUNE: Friday 19 Location: Canal de la Villette (19th) Start of the roving performance: 9 p.m. Saturday 20 Location: Canal St Martin (10th-11th) Start of the roving performance: 9 p.m. DJ set starts: 10 p.m. Friday 25 Location: Jules Joffrin (18th) Start of the roving performance: 9 p.m. DJ set starts: 10 p.m. Saturday 26 (date in collaboration with the association Fêtez Clairs)* Location: Oberkampf (11th) Start of the roving performance: 9 p.m. DJ set starts: 10 p.m. *Special evening with Fêtez Clairs Les Pierrots de la Nuit and Fêtez Clairs are joining forces for one evening to combine art and awareness-raising. Alongside the roving performance and silent DJ set, the inter-association initiative Fêtez Clairs will be present to inform you, listen to you, and talk about drug use, sexual health, and pleasure in festive settings. Through their on-the-ground presence and warm approach, Fêtez Clairs supports nightlife-goers and event organizers in making the night safer, more considerate, and still festive.
