Blending stand-up, autofiction, and theatrical performance, this show brings together seven writers who bear witness to the unique nature of their lived experiences.
Their texts explore subjects such as the experience of grief and the desire to build a different kind of world, bipolar disorder, sex work, gender transition journeys, systemic racism, and white privilege. Through these individual accounts, an overarching story gradually takes shape on stage: the story of writing, seen as a unifying and emancipatory practice.
