Laura and Salomé are inseparable. One Saturday evening in the middle of summer, the two teenagers walk along a local road at the edge of the forest, looking for somewhere to party. With only the fluorescent road markings to guide them, they try to find their way and eventually get lost. Adrift in an unsteady world, deeper and deeper into the night and the darkness of their memories, they witness their own downfall and the unraveling of their relationship.
PERFORMANCE SHOW In a dizzying interplay of doubles and mirrors, Céleste Germe directs Maëlys Ricordeau, who delivers an impressive performance as both young women. The hypnotic sound and visual design plunges us into the twists and turns of Laura and Salomé’s memories as they roam deep within the forest, deep into the night, toward their traumas. A place where friendship and love are first and foremost played out within oneself. An uncompromising and moving production in which shadows and mirages dance around a luminous, deeply affecting actress.
