Under the Paris sky… but at night! This summer, join the teams from the Association Française d’Astronomie for free evenings of sky observation and activities. Thanks to the partnership with the City of Paris, 20 parks and gardens will be open to everyone between June 27 and September 5, 2026.
The AFA’s sky guides will point binoculars and telescopes toward the starry sky, away from the lights in the parks, offering Parisians of all ages, whether alone or with family, observations and workshops to help identify the sky. What are these shining stars? How can you recognize and find them again? Depending on the dates and times, they may be able to observe the Moon’s craters through a telescope eyepiece, deep-sky objects such as nebulae and star clusters, or simply (re)discover the constellations of our celestial vault and the myths that go with them. Let yourself be amazed by a journey through space and history, to the far reaches of the universe and the night. Can’t make it to this evening?
