ARSE (10:00 PM) (Garage punk - Syndey, AUS) ARSE burst out of the suburbs of Sydney in 2017 and hasn’t slowed down in a decade: the band has released underground classics such as Primitive Species, Safe Word and Kaputt, as well as a 7-inch in collaboration with the phenomenal sax-and-drums duo Party Dozen – a collaboration that gave rise to Grupo, one of Australia’s most modest independent labels, but also one of its most important. Compared to everything from Morris-era Black Flag to King Gizz, their sound has taken ARSE onstage alongside Australian punk royalty Amyl and The Sniffers, Cosmic Psychos, Hard Ons, These New South Whales and Civic across numerous tours in Australia and Europe.
