The Language Garden at Valeyre Library is an opportunity to discover Greek and Irish, hear unfamiliar sounds and meet people from the cultural world.
This year, Valeyre Library invites you on a journey to discover Irish and Greek. From September 26 to October 17, as part of the annual la Rentrée des cultures festival organized by the Forum des instituts culturels étrangers à Paris (FICEP), the language sections of Paris libraries are offering a program of events dedicated to discovering different languages. The Language Garden is a series of events designed to spark curiosity: an opportunity to try new languages, discover unfamiliar sounds and meet cultural figures from a wide range of backgrounds. Open to everyone, it is an ideal way to explore other cultures and bring a touch of elsewhere to the start of the new season!
Admission: Reservation required by phone, email or in person. Saturday, October 10 at 3 p.m. to discover Greek. Saturday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. to discover Irish. You can follow all our activities on Valeyre Library's Instagram account.
