A performance presented as part of the Formula Bula comics festival
On a journey blending live drawing, music, and animation, Camille Gobourg and Hugo Le Fur bring Yune’s dreamlike world to life before the audience’s eyes. A young woman emerges from mysterious waters at the foot of a giant tree and sets out to explore a strange plant world inhabited by unusual creatures. With Yune (Panthera, 2025), Camille Gobourg presents a spellbinding wordless work. For this live drawing concert, the author uses her book to create a mural projected onto a large screen in dialogue with Hugo Le Fur’s live music. Through visual poetry, richly layered textures, and an immersive soundtrack, the audience is drawn into a dreamlike, delicate, and fragile world. Reservations through Bibliocité or by calling 01 44 78 80 50. The artists Camille Gobourg is an author and illustrator who graduated from EPSAA. She creates poetic, richly detailed worlds, often inspired by nature. Yune is her first book. Hugo Le Fur is an artist, illustrator, and VJ, and a member of the digital art collective OYÉ. He produces live audiovisual shows for numerous festivals (Dour, Peacock Society, Macki…) and develops works at the intersection of drawing, animation, and music. The Formula Bula festival, from September 25 to 27, 2026 The festival is both a place for celebration and a space where artistic expression can circulate. It is a fundamentally political act that experiments with new configurations of worlds and has the power to transform how we think and redefine ourselves. At a time when ominous winds are blowing, defending the collective ambition to broaden perspectives, bring different sensibilities into dialogue, and seek new paths remains more necessary than ever. Formula Bula’s program therefore follows a multitude of paths, none of which alone can map the vast territory of comics. Like biodiversity, bibliodiversity is also resisting the onslaught of extractive practices, industrial consolidation, and monopolies that deplete both the soil and the publishing world. Formula Bula celebrates emerging voices and unruly artists who strive to invent new possibilities for existence. There is something deeply moving about seeing new perspectives blossom and supporting works that are still searching for their place.
