What if a seed grew on a storyteller’s ear, bringing stories back into bloom? A magical pop-up book, a tender and poetic tale for children aged 2 to 12.
Once upon a time, there was a storyteller… But then… no one listened to him anymore. Children no longer sat around him, and stories no longer had a place. But one morning, a seed begins to grow… right there, on his ear. A curious and mysterious seed that grows… that transforms… And little by little, imagination takes root again, stories return, more beautiful, more alive, more magical! With poetry and tenderness, “La Graine d’oreille” takes us on a journey where books open like landscapes, where objects come to life, where words bloom again between generations. A show where you listen with your eyes, where you watch with your heart. A dream made of paper, puppets, and voices, to restore listening to its magic and speech to its light. Open your ears wide… A story is growing. This show is presented as part of the Paris children’s performing arts festival “L’été des p’tits futés,” organized by the Théâtre Darius Milhaud, located next to the parcs de la Villette and des Buttes-Chaumont.
