Visit the 5th arrondissement town hall, a showcase of 1920s Art Deco!
After a long search for a suitable location, the 5th arrondissement town hall was established on place du Panthéon. From the outset of its construction, carried out between 1844 and 1846, it was designed to mirror this great monument and serve as an architectural setting that would enhance it. In 1913, a decision was made to extend the building, and the project was entrusted in 1921 to architect René Patouillard-Demoriane. He transformed it into a true showcase of Art Deco, the artistic movement that triumphed at the 1925 Exhibition. This tour will introduce you to its spectacular interiors, culminating in the ballroom, created by the renowned decorator and brilliant interior designer Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann. The ticketing link will be activated during the first half of September.
Price: Registration for this event will open online on this page in early September.
