The Ciné-Club Le 7e genre is coming to the media library! The evening will feature a screening of Valérie Minetto's film "Oublier Cheyenne" (2006), followed by a discussion with director Valérie Minetto and screenwriter Cécile Vargaftig. We will also explore how portrayals of female homosexuality in French cinema have evolved.
The evening will be hosted by Anne Delabre, a trained journalist, co-author with Didier Roth-Bettoni of the book Le Cinéma français et l’homosexualité (Danger Public), and programmer of the ‘Le 7e genre' film club, which examines LGBTQI++ representation in cinema ( le7egenre.fr ).
