To celebrate Canopée's tenth anniversary, the Médiathèque Musicale de Paris - Christiane Eda-Pierre and the Médiathèque de la Canopée invite you to take part in a body percussion workshop led by Isabelle Dauzet. The Hip Tap Project company has developed a unique world where the body does more than dance; it becomes an instrument, a voice and a source of sound. Body percussion—this primal gesture that turns the body itself into an instrument—offers an immediate, intuitive experience accessible to everyone. This workshop provides a space to connect and share. Its primary aim is to help participants understand and express rhythm through the experience of both dance and music. Body percussion conveys a powerful message of universality, bringing audiences and generations together around a contemporary discipline combining rhythm, movement and musicality. The workshop will be led by Isabelle Dauzet / Hip Tap Project. Each group can include up to 16 people. Children aged 12 and over may register. Two time slots are available: - from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. - from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration opens on August 5. More information about Hip Tap Project
