150 works, 200m² of walls, one name: Thierry Vischel's first exhibition in Paris, at the Palais des Congrès.
Self-taught, a collector since the age of 14, and shaped by museums across Europe and around the world, Thierry Vischel has been painting relentlessly for around thirty years. His approach is singular: he has made his own name the very material of his work. He repeats it, layers it, lets it spill beyond the frame — in blood red on a white background, cobalt blue on black, white writing on raw canvas. Neither figurative nor abstract. A painter of existence. For this first solo exhibition, 150 works from a body of more than a thousand paintings take over the 200m² of the Anti-Galerie Cov'Art, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris. The works are for sale.
