Once again this year, the library is taking part in the Festival Off de la Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre. As part of the event, the MMC will lead a workshop based on its educational activity kit. Reawakening our fascination with sound: that is the aim of the KIT Musiques en jeu(x), a hands-on listening kit. Guided by a facilitator, participants handle unlikely sound-making objects such as marbles and sandpaper, improvise vocal games, or have fun recording and combining sounds using three electronic modules. It is a playful, sensory way to discover sound and music creation. There are no winners or losers in these games, which are designed to spark curiosity, encourage the creation of strange and unexpected sounds, and foster interaction among participants. Games can be chosen according to age, the number of players, or the theme. A playlist accompanying each one extends the experience and encourages active listening. So come and play, listen, and explore sounds together!
