Talented trumpeter Larry Gillespie is back in France! With his French trio, he brings warmth to 1950s and 1960s West Coast jazz, adding a touch of swing and compositions by Laurent Katz.
Larry Gillespie (trumpet and vocals), who has performed with the big bands of Ray Charles and Woody Herman, as well as with many French and international musicians, is back in France following his first stay in the 1990s. His French trio mainly plays 1950s and 1960s West Coast jazz, whose most celebrated exponents include Chet Baker and Art Pepper, alongside arrangements and compositions by Laurent Katz.
