Drawing inspiration from the energy and styles of the be-bop era through to more modern ensembles, the four musicians present an original repertoire of compositions and arrangements, united by sophisticated harmonies and an infectious swing. Featuring Sandro Torsiello (tenor saxophone), Gautier Montegu (piano), France Duclairoir (double bass) and Guillaume Leguérinel (drums), the quartet performs compositions deeply inspired by the jazz of their predecessors, while keeping a keen eye on the African American tradition.
