Les Ateliers Marcadet also offers artistic and creative workshops during school holidays. Always led by visual artists, and open to children and teenagers of all levels, our program is designed to be eclectic and suited to young audiences eager for creativity.
DRAWING-VISUAL ARTS WORKSHOP From Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2026 From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ages 6-10 "Journey into the Heart of Ecosystems" with Pauline Bessières This workshop invites children to explore nature as a space of shapes, materials, and transformations. Starting with simple elements (a leaf, a texture, a trace), they will be encouraged to observe, handle, and shift what they perceive. Drawing becomes a field for experimentation, where images gradually appear through gestures, attempts, and layering. Different practices will come together over the sessions: colored pencils, collage, imprints, printing techniques, modeling, assemblage, and construction. These different techniques will be used to search, test, and let unexpected forms emerge. The landscapes that appear are not set in advance: they are built gradually, between observation and imagination. Fragments meet, transform, and eventually give rise to invented ecosystems. Each child will progress at their own pace, experiment freely, and develop a sensitive eye for the forms of living things. We provide a small snack, but feel free to give your child something extra. DRAWING WORKSHOP From Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2026 From 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Ages 11-15 Drawing Workshop: "Discovering Techniques" with Naël Al Yafi A creative workshop! Come explore a new medium and try out different drawing techniques: graphite, ink, markers, watercolor, textures, shadows, composition, landscapes, clothing, objects, anatomy, fauna, flora... You will be able to experiment, understand how each tool transforms your line, and develop your own style. We provide a small snack, but feel free to give your child something extra. ARTISTIC DISCOVERY WORKSHOP From Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2026 From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 3-5 "Masks and Costumes" with Samiha Driss Ready to become superheroes, princesses, or funny animals? During this workshop, children ages 3 to 5 make their own masks and costumes while letting their imaginations run free! Painting, collage, feathers, and glitter will all be part of the fun to create unique costumes... and end on a high note with a colorful parade. We provide a small snack, but feel free to give your child something extra.
