Through an original musical creation performed live, Uyghur musician and sound artist Erpan Hesher reimagines Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau’s silent-film masterpiece: Nosferatu (2026).
Developed at the Dominicains de Haute-Alsace as part of his residency as an associate artist, this film concert offers a contemporary interpretation of Nosferatu through the expressive possibilities of modular synthesis. Blending atmospheric soundscapes, electronic textures, sonic tension, and real-time improvisation, the music becomes a character in its own right. Every performance is unique. The score combines composition and live performance, allowing the music to closely follow the emotions, silences, and transformations of the narrative.
