Contemporary jazz — Led by the talented saxophonist Florian Marques, PEAKS invites you on a unique musical journey filled with melodic and improvised sounds alongside Roman Reidid.
Led by saxophonist Florian Marques, the PEAKS quartet is releasing "Invitations" this year, its second album, which takes us on a journey from the hills of Twin Peaks to Belleville, via the Hautes Vallées béarnaises of the Pyrénées and New York. Born from artistic and personal encounters, this new record puts melody and improvisation front and center and is conceived as a dialogue between PEAKS and guest musicians with distinctive artistic identities. To mark the occasion, PEAKS will be in residence at 38Riv in 2026 for four exceptional quintet concerts, each featuring one of the album’s guests. This Wednesday, March 23, they are delighted to welcome trumpeter Roman Reidid! Line-up: Florian Marques: saxophone; Roman Reidid: trumpet; Thomas Gaucher: guitar; Arthur Henn: double bass; Corentin Rio: drums. 38Riv Jazz Club is an intimate venue in the heart of the Marais (38 rue de Rivoli, Paris 4e), dedicated to jazz and improvised music.
