To mark the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France, the Centre Culturel Coréen and Théâtre Silvia Monfort are co-organizing an exceptional K-pop dance workshop inspired by the film KPop Demon Hunters.
An iconic genre of the Korean Hallyu wave, K-pop is enjoying remarkable growth in the West, and France is no exception. The number of K-pop music and dance fans continues to rise, now bringing together millions of enthusiasts. True ambassadors of the movement, K-pop stars have become the new idols of an entire generation. Released on a streaming platform in 2025, the film KPop Demon Hunters achieved worldwide success and continues to captivate a broad audience. Nominated for an Oscar last March, it remains at the heart of the cultural conversation. Against this backdrop, TSM and the Centre Culturel Coréen are offering a two-week dance intensive from September 7 to 18, featuring songs from the film’s original soundtrack (OST). This academy is a unique opportunity to dance to your favorite K-pop tracks while improving your skills in a friendly, energizing atmosphere. Two-week intensive consisting of ten 90-minute sessions Group 1: 6:00–7:30 p.m., Monday 7 through Friday 11 and Monday 14 through Friday 18 September. Group 2: 8:00–9:30 p.m., Monday 7 through Friday 11 and Monday 14 through Friday 18 September. Daniel Park Daniel (Dany) PARK, also known as Jang Hoon PARK, is a renowned dancer and choreographer in France’s K-Pop scene. He is considered one of the pioneers of K-Pop instruction in France, having started teaching in 2007, well before its surge in popularity. He is a member of M.Y.O.M.Y SQUAD and the MKV (myomy korean vibe) association, which organizes events such as the K-GARDEN PARTY and K-Pop dance workshops throughout France to promote Korean culture. ↘ With the Centre Culturel Coréen
