Between romantic aspirations and pragmatism in relationships, a desire for independence and a search for intimacy, an abundance of encounters and difficulty committing, homosexuality, feminism, and the masculinist backlash, romantic practices are undergoing profound changes today. Does this mean that love as an ideal has disappeared from our realm of experience? In what language can love express itself today, and are we still willing to hear it? With Clotilde Leguil, psychoanalyst and professor of philosophy at université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis; Mickaëlle Provost, philosophy researcher at UCL Bruxelles; Camille Riquier, philosopher and dean of the philosophy faculty at Institut catholique de Paris.
