Activities, listening sessions, a sound walk, and sound installations
As soon as you arrive at place Stravinsky, immerse yourself in the world of the fountain with a headphone-based sound walk (ages 6 and up). Then enter the institute and explore its media library on level 2; head down to level -2, where workshops for younger visitors and listening sessions will take place. In “Histoires en sons et en mouvements” (ages 4–6), tell stories in a new way using innovative technology that transforms gestures and movements into sounds. The “Ciné-Sons” workshop (ages 8–12) invites your children to explore the close relationship between images and music by remixing iconic movie scenes. An escape game, “Panique en régie,” gives your teenagers the chance to step into the shoes of a sound engineer. Musiques-Fictions, meanwhile, combine a contemporary text, an original musical composition, and the shared experience of immersive listening. Finish your visit at the Espace de projection on level -4, where two immersive sound creations by Sivan Eldar and Sébastien Gaxie will play continuously in alternation.
Admission: Free, subject to availability. Free children’s workshops, reservation required.
