An exhibition at the bibliothèque Robert Sabatier, in partnership with La Maison Perché and its outsider art gallery, "Les Piailleries". The creators of the works featured in "Hypersensible Hyperpouvoir" offer a glimpse into their inner worlds and into the realms of mental health and emotions. Creations by free-spirited souls whose experiences resonate with everyone.
The exhibition opening will take place on Tuesday, October 6, following the event Des cases et des bulles : la santé mentale en BD. More information about this event here About Les Piailleries, the outsider art gallery of La Maison Perchée: Recovery lies at the heart of La Maison Perchée’s mission: it is about thriving rather than merely surviving with a mental health condition, taking back control of one’s life, and finding one’s place in society. This empowerment notably comes through artistic expression. Showcasing Les Piailleries means putting the most marginalized people back at the center—those who are called “crazy,” but whose experiences resonate with everyone. Writing, painting, photography, video, music… All formats are welcome and exhibited. , About La Maison Perchée: La Maison Perchée is a non-medical organization specializing in supporting young adults living with mental health conditions, based on peer support among people with lived experience. Online and in Paris (59 avenue de la République, Paris 11e). It is also a space open to everyone, where the general public, people with lived experience, and their loved ones can meet. These opportunities to come together are invaluable and essential if we want to make our society a world where people can live happily without hiding their mental health condition. More information
