Following a SOLD OUT first edition that brought together dancers and enthusiasts, The Mobb is Calling returns for a second edition.
To mark the 10th anniversary of La Place, the UNITS collective has been invited to take the reins with a new carte blanche designed as a major celebration of connection, sharing, and collective energy. On the program: jams, freestyle, shows, and battles, in a format that makes as much room for performance as it does for exchange. Whether you come to dance, support the participants, or simply discover new worlds, The Mobb is Calling is above all a moment where styles intersect, generations come together, and everyone can find their place. More than an event, The Mobb is Calling is a space for expression and passing on knowledge. It is an opportunity to spotlight the Hip-Hop community, celebrate the people who shape it, and keep alive a culture built on community, respect, and the joy of dancing. Whether you are an experienced dancer, an amateur, or simply curious, take the call. About Units UNITS is a collective of seven artists, dancers, performers, and choreographers from the underground Hip-Hop scene. United by a shared passion for dance and Hip-Hop culture, they are now among the leading figures on the French and international scenes. Born from a desire to make women’s journeys visible in a world that remains largely male-dominated, the collective champions an engaged approach to creativity, where performance becomes a space for representation, knowledge-sharing, and dialogue. Through their projects, its members are helping to change perceptions of women’s place in Hip-Hop culture and highlight the diversity of the journeys that shape it. Through formats combining creation, performance, and events, UNITS celebrates the richness of the Hip-Hop community and carries a simple message: “We are here.” Join us on Sunday, 11 October at La Place!
