Discover & meet our members
SISM: GEM "Le Cap de Bonne Espérance" invites everyone to unleash their creativity on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. As part of the Mental Health Information Weeks (SISM), the mutual support group (GEM) Le Cap de Bonne Espérance is organizing a day of connection and discovery under the theme “For our mental health, let’s open ourselves up to the arts!” The association invites visitors to discover how artistic expression can become a powerful source of everyday well-being. How can we care for our mental health and strengthen social connections? For GEM Le Cap de Bonne Espérance, the answer lies in sharing, self-expression, and creativity. On Wednesday, October 14, the association will open its doors to members and curious visitors alike for a day of welcoming, immersive workshops. This event is fully aligned with the aims of SISM, which seeks to raise public awareness and challenge the stigma surrounding mental health through culture. Develop your skills through four themed workshops. The day’s program has been designed to give everyone an opportunity to explore different forms of art in a supportive and stimulating atmosphere: - Body Theater (Movement Art): The art of mime and gesture. A workshop where participants can learn to express themselves without words, free their movements, and play with space. - Exhibition & Creation (Creative Art): An inspiring and colorful pop-up art gallery where visitors can admire the works and talents of GEM members. - Cultural Tasting (Culinary Art): A culinary journey to awaken the taste buds and share new flavors in a friendly atmosphere. - Object & Goodie Creation (Crafts): A workshop space where participants can design their own keepsakes inspired by the day and leave with a unique creation.
