As part of the Marcel Mule Festival, a celebration taking place throughout Ile de France from September 13 to 24, 2026, the conservatory is delighted to host the preliminary rounds of the Marcel Mule International Saxophone Quartet Competition.
Around twenty ensembles from across the globe will compete on Friday, September 18, for a place in the grand final on Sunday, September 20, at Eglise Saint Merry de Paris. An exceptional jury has been invited for this unique event. The preliminary round, which will take place throughout the day and into the evening, is free to attend. This year marks the 125th anniversary of Marcel Mule, the founding father of the French classical school of saxophone. The competition is open to the public. Reservations will be available from September 1.
