This introductory workshop is for anyone who wants to discover Mahraganat dance and explore the energy and creativity it inspires. Choreographer Islam Elarabi introduces the history of this movement and teaches its fundamental steps and techniques. Born in the streets of Cairo, Mahraganat dance embodies Egypt's popular energy, blending electronic trance with spontaneous movement. It brings people together, offering participants a space to connect with one another and share their love of rhythm and movement. The workshop accompanies Islam Elarabi's performance Just One Tile, scheduled at the Carreau du Temple on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 6 p.m.
