When Parisian irreverence meets Berlin burlesque: a queer, activist and utterly wild cabaret born from the collision of La Bouche and The Velvet Creepers!
First Paris dates The irreverent Parisians of La Bouche join forces with the Berlin burlesque performers of The Velvet Creepers. A groundbreaking European collaboration promising protest songs, circus performances and outrageous costumes. Together, they embody the revival of cabaret from East to West. Paris-based La Bouche meets Berlin-based The Velvet Creepers to create an extravagant, queer and activist show. Since 2022, the La Bouche quartet has blended pop culture, lesbian poetry and decolonial rap in explosive shows with a DIY spirit. At the helm? The flamboyant Soa de Muse, who unveiled her futuristic cabaret at Festival Everybody in 2026, the enigmatic Mascare, the captivating Bili Bellegarde and the moving Grand Soir. Their boldness meets the burlesque, surrealist and glamorous style of The Velvet Creepers. Created in 2018 by the fiery duo Fifi Fantôme, an aerial acrobat and burlesque dancer, and Dunja von K, a hula-hoop and hair-suspension expert, this “Weimar Cabaret on acid” aims to blend the satirical tradition of German cabaret with Berlin club culture.
