New: Le Padel Festival This year, the Fédération Française de Tennis is organizing Le Padel Festival on Sunday, September 6. Designed as a genuine opportunity to discover and share the world of padel, this event, open to everyone, will transform Stade Roland-Garros into a life-size playground with a festive, welcoming and accessible atmosphere. With activities, performances, introductory sessions, sporting challenges and matches, spectators can enjoy a different kind of day with family or friends in the heart of Stade Roland-Garros. On the program: • “Team Tennis vs Team Padel – Le duel des légendes”: the highlight of the day will feature exhibition matches on Court Philippe-Chatrier, pitting French tennis legends (Richard Gasquet, Arnaud Clément, Lucas Pouille and Fabrice Santoro) against professional padel players. • The celebrity tournament: this competition will bring together personalities from the worlds of sport, media and entertainment. • “Des Clubs au Chatrier”: this nationwide competition, organized in partnership with padel clubs and open to amateur players, will bring together pairs that have won qualifying tournaments. Thirty-one mixed amateur pairs, selected by lottery, and one professional pair will take part. On the program: a knockout draw, matches played to two winning points, and 10,000 euros in prize money for the winning pair! • Alpine Paris Major qualifying: spectators can watch the tournament’s opening matches and discover the rising stars of the international circuit. • Play padel at Stade Roland-Garros: one of the most exclusive experiences at Le Padel Festival. Throughout the day, visitors will have access to several courts in the stadium to try or play padel under the guidance of qualified instructors. It’s a rare opportunity to pick up a racket and, for the duration of a rally, experience the same sensations as the players competing at Roland-Garros. The 15-minute sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. • Garden Padel activities: throughout the tournament, visitors can also enjoy the many activities available in the Garden Padel area (foosball, pétanque, “tic tac basket,” Mölky, spike, cornhole…).
