The idea behind 109 is “new blood.” The concept? 2 young talents, 2 45-minute sets, and above all, a chance to show Paris what they can do.
CAPUCINE: With a soft, deep voice and raw, cathartic lyrics, Capucine casts a spell. Originally a contemporary dancer, she found an outlet in music when expressing herself through her body became painful. Capucine has since shaped her identity around synth and dark-pop sounds. Through her writing, she heals. She heals her soul and gives a voice to those who feel misunderstood and to their neuroses. At 23, she is a woman hungry for freedom, offering socially conscious lyrics that highlight the issues of our time and the importance of justice, respect, and love. Her influences range from Jacques Brel to Billie Eilish, from Stromae to Aurora and Björk. An emerging artist on the French-language music scene, she is currently putting the finishing touches on her first EP. Two years after “Maladie,” which has amassed over 50K streams across platforms, new releases are expected in late 2026! https://www.instagram.com/capucine.chmt/ EASY TIGRE: Tigre is a French artist of Corsican and Palestinian descent.
