During Paris Design Week, designers dach&zephir will take over the historic boardroom at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées.
For Paris Design Week 2026, studio dach&zephir — winner of the 2026 Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in the social commitment category — is taking over the boardroom, the private lounge at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées. The duo, whose Franco-Caribbean perspectives shape both their approach and their projects (from research and object publishing to knowledge-sharing), has conceived an anniversary exhibition for the occasion. Entitled Souvenances, the exhibition presents a previously unseen collection of pieces and installations created by the duo, in which archives, images, texts, and materials come together to form a reconstructed narrative of the ten years since the studio was founded. The boardroom becomes an intimate setting: a living memory box holding the ideas, knowledge, and expertise that have marked their journey and shaped their path. What should be done with the field images that accompany their projects? How can ten years of memories be presented without creating a monographic exhibition? Like a message of gratitude sent from afar, the exhibition offers a series of freeze-frames: the objects and installations — freely blending the conventions of personal, administrative, and office archives with those of fashion showrooms — become vessels for patiently preserved stories, both textual and visual. Stories that are now being passed on as a legacy. Practical information: Galerie Layettes Champs-Élysées 60 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris Free admission from Thursday, September 10 to Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
