Emma Giulia (Paris, 1999) is a French guitarist and composer. In June 2025, she released her debut album, 'Une Question d'Enfant' (Integral / Pias), on the Zennez Records label—a project reflecting her ongoing exploration of risk-taking, resilience, and creative freedom. On May 1, 2026, she released a remix of her composition 'Résilience' in collaboration with American poet and activist Tongo Eisen-Martin. Conceived as an ode to liberation, the track celebrates the ability to overcome one's fears; poet and activist Tongo Eisen-Martin delivers a powerful spoken-word performance, adding a political dimension and a hip-hop flavor to the track. In July 2026, she will record an album in New York for the JMI RECORDINGS label (Questlove, David Murray, Ana Frango Eléctrico). Emma Giulia is also preparing her third album, 'Euphoria Mundis', which is scheduled to be recorded in late January 2027: the concert at La Dame de Canton will be an opportunity to present tracks from her debut album, 'Une Question d'Enfant', as well as previously unreleased material planned for her upcoming albums. °°° Opening act: David Atger Quartet The David Atger Quartet is part of today's jazz scene, embracing influences from contemporary music. Driven by four tight-knit musicians, the group performs compositions with fluid structures, blending melodic lyricism with more electric rhythms. Following in the footsteps of Chick Corea, Snarky Puppy, and GoGo Penguin, their music cultivates a sense of sonic landscape and storytelling, allowing improvisation to breathe without ever losing the thread. An emerging project that is both sophisticated and immediately affecting.
