With ONCE UPON A TIME… THE REVOLUTION, Sergio Leone reinvents the Zapata Western. Moving between revolutionary Mexico and memories of the Irish uprising, he portrays the mechanisms of oppression, but also an unlikely friendship forged amid the dust and gunpowder of the desert and tested by disillusionment.
