Two outstanding young virtuosos representing a new generation. They perform at international festivals.
Works by Ravel, Piazzolla, Duplessy, Villa-Lobos… Featuring: Baptiste Erard, guitar: A graduate of the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billlancourt and Sorbonne université, he is pursuing a dual master’s degree at the CNSM de Paris. A young musician constantly seeking new repertoire and original projects, he performs as a soloist, notably at the 18th Paris International Guitar Festival, and has won several national and international competitions as part of a duo and quartet. For the past three years, he has been supported by the Stockholm-based Cosmos music label for his first duo album: GLASS GAZE. Thomas Briant, violin, has established himself as one of the distinctive voices of his generation. After initially training at the CNSM de Paris, he continued his studies at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne under Renaud Capuçon. His distinctions include: prizewinner at the 5th Klépal Appassionato International Violin Competition in 2019, a recital at the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, the Prix Thierry Scherz, and the Prix André Hoffmann… Invited to numerous festivals across Europe and beyond, including the Festival international Enescu and the Festival de Pâques d’Aix-en-Provence, he performs alongside leading artists.
Admission: Concerts Are Not Free. A respectful donation of €8 per person will be requested on-site in cash (no bank cards), out of respect for the musicians’ high-quality work!!!
