Bibliothèque Buffon invites you on a literary walk through its neighborhood, as part of the "It Was Paris in 1970" exhibition currently on display at the BHvP.
For the first Rendez-vous de l'Escalier after the summer break, we invite you to explore the neighborhood's literary and cultural history. Step back into the Paris of 1970, following in the footsteps of the photographers who took part in the major campaign currently on display at La Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris. We will leave Bibliothèque Buffon at 10:30 a.m. for a 1.5-hour walk featuring readings and discussions. Your stories and favorite discoveries about local writers and nearby streets are welcome. This book club event is being held in connection with the C.A.U.E photography campaign C’était Paris en 1970.
