Lula Strega is setting up shop to shake up the conventions of cabaret with ORPHEUM. A hybrid creation by Agence Mère that will have you mesmerized.
ORPHEUM BY LULA STREGA: THE CABARET THAT BREAKS THE RULES Forget tired formulas and predictable performances. Get ready for a bold, edgy hybrid show combining the power of video art with the world of drag cabaret. It is a genuine space for poetry and connection centered on queer art—a place to escape reality, unfiltered and full of character, designed to surprise you, shake you up, and put a smile on your face. For its grand premiere, ORPHEUM dons the trappings of fairy tales, legends, and myths, reclaiming them to make us dream with our eyes wide open. Lula Strega, our mist-shrouded enchantress, welcomes a stellar lineup to the stage, each taking a turn to tell their own story: Hego Scorpion, a sharp-edged creature and king of the underworld; Kreature, a solitary nocturnal soul; and Oona, a graphic, intoxicated poet. As for the evening’s schedule, everything is taken care of. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.—the perfect time to grab your spot, settle in, and soak up the atmosphere. Then, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., it is time for the show and pure performance. Of course, there will be a 30-minute intermission halfway through, giving you time to catch your breath, have a no-holds-barred debrief with your friends, and, most importantly, stop by our counters for some delicious food and a refreshing drink.
