Come pit your spatulas against the king of Levantine cuisine. This September, join us for a delicious workshop that will send your tired old salt and pepper packing.
THE WORKSHOP THAT WILL SPICE UP YOUR EVERYDAY COOKING! Some flavors can transform your life in the kitchen. For chef Alon, that great love is Za’atar . Made with just four simple ingredients, this traditional Middle Eastern blend is the best-kept secret for turning any basic dish into a true masterpiece. On Saturday, September 5, join us at Communale St-Ouen for an ultra-friendly 1-hour-45-minute workshop. No need to worry if you have a delicate palate: Za’atar is incredibly aromatic, but not spicy at all! Under the guidance of Alon (the passionate content creator behind @alonimhotep ), you’ll learn how to use this magical seasoning in all kinds of delicious, accessible recipes: - Perfectly crispy Lebanese bread chips (vegan) - An outstanding, ultra-creamy hummus (vegan) - The must-have warm halloumi with honey and Za’atar (vegetarian) - A creamy tahini sauce (vegan) - A vibrant red onion and sumac salad (vegan) - And for dessert… sweet Za’atar cookies! After everyone tastes the masterpieces you’ve made, you’ll leave with a recipe booklet so you can recreate the magic at home, along with a jar of Za’atar prepared by the chef himself. Whether you come solo to meet new people, as a couple, with friends, or as a family (the workshop is perfect for children aged 8 and up), get ready to have a fantastic time. Please note that attendance is limited to just 12 participants to keep the atmosphere intimate and welcoming! FIND OUT MORE Instagram link
