Rennes-based singer Sonya Pinçon and her jazz trio pay tribute to legendary pianist Horace Silver, the creator of “Bop & Latin Blues.” Known for her soulful voice and charisma, Sonya takes you on a unique musical journey celebrating the legacy of this great jazz master. On piano is Ludovic de Preissac, an arranger and pianist who has performed at leading Parisian jazz clubs (first prize in piano, Jazz à la Défense award winner) and has played and recorded with saxophonist Bob Mintzer and clarinetist Eddie Daniels. He has also released several albums, including West Side Story and Les Paradoxes de l’instinct. On double bass is Cédric Caillaud, who has accompanied artists including China Moses, Thomas Dutronc and Scott Hamilton. On drums is Stéphane Stanger, a CMCN graduate, teacher at the Rennes conservatory, and jazz and blues musician.
