Flash is a young butterfly who, barely out of his chrysalis, discovers that he is a mayfly. After the initial shock and following a snail’s advice, he sets off in search of the Stade de France and its 454 spotlights—the Holy Grail for any butterfly. Thus begins a whirlwind 24-hour adventure.
From Le Havre to Saint-Denis via the Seine, a true race against time begins, with both good and bad encounters along the way. One thing is certain: at midnight, it will all be over. Unless… “Flash” is a family musical that puts acting, dancing, and singing center stage. Four actors, singers, dancers, and musicians bring an eclectic menagerie to life: an anxious mayfly, a sluggish snail, an enthusiastic mouse, a wacky badger, a cantankerous viper, a spy fly, a music-loving crow, and a gang of seriously annoyed cats. The narrator’s voice-over sets the pace as scenes unfold at breakneck speed, the set transforms, the clock ticks down, and young audience members hold their breath until the final twist. For ages 5 and up and all audiences. Running time: 1 hour 15 minutes. Nominated for the Trophée de la comédie musicale in the Young Audiences category
