[Talk + Outing] Do you know how the clouds we see every day form? This talk invites you to look up at the sky with fresh eyes. After an accessible introduction to the world of the atmosphere and meteorology, we will explore the mechanisms behind cloud formation through practical examples. You will discover the main types of clouds and learn how to identify them, along with some spectacular optical phenomena they reveal to the attentive observer. Led by Marjorie Perrissin-Fabert, who is passionate about clouds and meteorology, the talk will conclude with an observation of the day's clouds in the Parc Floral de Paris, giving us a chance to put our new knowledge into practice.
