HEAT, RHYTHM AND TRANCE: SOUTHERN ITALY IS COMING TO THE EXTRA BAL! Got rhythm in your bones but tired of the same old couples dancing to techno? We have exactly what you need to spice up your autumn Sundays. Communale St-Ouen is taking you on a direct journey to the heel of the Italian boot with its Tarantella Workshop. What is the tarantella? Forget the dusty clichés. We're talking about a family of lively, rhythmic traditional dances performed in a circle. The idea is simple: a tambourine sets the pace, a large circle lets everyone support one another, and in the middle, you simply let go. Whether you're an occasional dancer or a dance-floor pro, everyone has a place in the circle. It's physical, joyful and liberating. To guide you through this collective trance, we've invited a true master: Giulia Pesole. A dancer, movement educator and co-founder of the RomaTrad artistic collective, Giulia divides her time between Paris and Rome, passionately sharing this culture. With her, there are no frills: you'll explore the history of these dances through a contemporary, artistic and, above all, highly accessible approach. In short, less talking, more dancing. Places are very limited (a maximum capacity of 30 to 40 people to preserve the warm, intimate atmosphere we love), so don't wait to grab your ticket!
