What if poetry came to life by the water? On August 29, Piscine Thérèse et Jeanne Brulé will host the Poetry Olympics, an original event created by the Gyntiana company. Open to everyone aged 7 and over, this competition invites participants to share their creativity through poetry, theater, music, dance, or any other form of artistic expression.
For one day, Piscine Thérèse et Jeanne Brulé will be transformed into a true artistic stage where words meet water. The Poetry Olympics is a friendly, participatory competition celebrating creativity in all its forms. Whether you are passionate about poetry, a slam enthusiast, a singer, dancer, musician, or simply curious to try something original, everyone is welcome to put on a performance based on a single theme: blue. Before the performances, the Gyntiana theater company will support participants through group workshops and personalized guidance to help them prepare and showcase their act. The event is free and open to children (aged 7 and over), teenagers, and adults. Younger participants may, of course, be accompanied by their parents. Performances, which may last up to 7 minutes, can be presented in French or another language (with an integrated translation), and the audience will be invited to vote for their favorite act. 📅 Saturday, August 29, 2026 📍 Piscine Thérèse et Jeanne Brulé – Paris 14e 🎟️ Free participation – registration required 📧 Registration: [email protected] A unique cultural event bringing together art, poetry, and the swimming pool for a day devoted to sharing, imagination, and creativity.
