A sensory exhibition where painting, music, and fragrance explore memory and the passage of time through flowers.
Through Memento Floris, visual artist François Farcy explores memory, the passage of time, and the traces left by those who have shaped our lives. Inspired in particular by memories of his grandmother and the flowers that were part of his childhood, the exhibition transforms this intimate recollection into a universal experience. Flowers become witnesses to time: they emerge, bloom, and then fade, mirroring our own memories. Painting lies at the heart of Memento Floris, but the experience extends beyond the visual. An original musical composition, created especially for the project and released on vinyl in a limited edition of 100 copies, accompanies the exhibition, while an olfactory dimension evokes the connection between fragrance and memory. François Farcy has conceived an exhibition not only to be seen, but also heard and felt, inviting everyone to slow down and rediscover, through flowers, an emotion, a place, or the memory of a person.
