The teams at ESA headquarters in Paris have put together a rich and varied program for the second edition of the ESA Open Days, taking place on September 19 and 20 as part of the European Heritage Days.
Located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris since 1976 and fully renovated in 2023, ESA headquarters will make an exceptional opening to the general public. The visit is an opportunity to discover an iconic hub of European space cooperation, where numerous projects and missions are developed and coordinated. The program includes talks led by space industry specialists, a meeting with an ESA astronaut, a simulation of the ESA Council to learn how Member States make the Agency's major decisions, an exhibition of satellite, space probe, and launch vehicle models presented by experts, as well as an HR stand showcasing career opportunities at ESA. The Astrolabe, ESA headquarters' science and culture space, and the ESA shop will also be open throughout the two-day event. Registration is required to attend the talks and ESA Council simulations.
