Discover linocut printing with visual artist Caroline Gaume during a three-hour workshop on the theme “Plants and Animals”! Other themes may also be offered depending on the time of year and your preferences.
Guided by Caroline Gaume from the Point bleu workshops, you will learn how to choose an image and prepare it for transfer onto lino, how to use the gouges used to carve the lino, and how to ink the plate and print one or more images. You will leave ready to practice linocut printing at home! Places are limited to ensure personalized guidance. Booking is required. - Materials provided: linoleum plate, ink, paper. Each participant will leave with one or two carved plates and prints from each on various types of paper. - Times: 2:15 p.m. / 5:15 p.m. - Everyone is welcome to bring an image (drawing or photo) or choose from the images provided.
