A completely free afternoon dedicated to ecology as part of European Sustainable Development Week!
As part of European Sustainable Development Week, Centre Wangari is dedicating an afternoon to ecology! ON THE PROGRAM: 3 p.m.: Participatory workshops by Compagnie Cycle cour For ages 7 and up: "Young Electricity Geniuses." Discover how electricity works through games and by assembling simple circuits. For ages 10 and up: "The Climate Fresk." Reconstruct the cause-and-effect relationships behind climate change and explore actions you can take in your daily life. 4 p.m.: "Jacob's Cycle Tales," a show by Compagnie Cycle cour Come and hear the story of Jacob and his best friend Wilhelm, his magical bicycle. Together, they travel the world in search of the most beautiful stories to tell. 5 p.m.: Unveiling of the first mural in the "Ceremonia" series by street artist Ninin Ceremonia is a painted calendar, a story written over the course of an entire year. Each month, a new mural comes to life from a celebration, ritual, or key date in the calendars of Latin American peoples. The cycle begins with the September equinox, a moment of balance and transition. He will paint this mural in front of Centre Wangari and unveil it on September 23.
