Would you like to get involved but don’t know where to start? On September 24, the Fabrique de la Solidarité invites you to discover the different ways you can support solidarity initiatives in Paris and will guide you through your “first steps” as a volunteer.
Over the course of the evening, come and discover the Fabrique, its work and training programs, meet associations and City of Paris departments, and talk with the people who make solidarity happen every day. Extreme poverty, senior isolation, child protection… Several areas of solidarity work will be represented, giving you a first-hand look at the wide range of volunteer opportunities available in Paris. Collection of hygiene products and underwear! A collection of hygiene products, socks, and new underwear (for women and men) will also be organized during the evening. If you wish, you can make a contribution! The donated items will then be distributed to people experiencing hardship. Program - 6:30 p.m.: welcome and musical opening featuring a performance by the conservatoire Mozart - An interactive activity offering a fun introduction to the different ways to get involved - Testimonials from associations and services showing how volunteers can take practical action alongside them - Conversations and networking where you can ask all your questions, explore the opportunities, and talk with the team, who will help you get started!
